Robert Cleo Henderson, known to most as Bob or Bobby, joined our Lord and Savior and all his heavenly loved ones on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center after a hard battle with health issues. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, Godfather and dear friend. He was 79 years old. Bob was a local business owner, entrepreneur and mentor. He owned and operated the Pilot House Sobriety Center. He loved his AA family. He never knew a stranger. He was known to help people who others often saw as unhelpable. Giving his all to a fault. Bob had been sober for 43 years and very proud of it. Deservedly so! In his younger years he spent time in California as a High Stylist attending to members of High Society and many celebrities. He spent time in the United States Army and continued a very busy and colorful life upon his discharge. He loved to travel and was quite the adventurer. He always helped his mother whom he cherished deeply. He always put his sisters before himself as they were growing up. He was an awesome Uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a shining example of determination and perseverance to everyone in his life. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert Cleo Henderson and Josephine Mae Pruett, his sister Diane Konkol (Jack) Schram, life partner and friend Joseph Wable and his life partner and friend Roger (Billy) Stafford. He is survived by his fur babies and loyal companions Gizmo, Susie and Baby G, his stepfather Edward Pruett, a cousin who was like a son to him, John E. Spagnola, sisters Margaret (Bill) Korn, Susan (Rose) Johnson, half siblings William A. (Sonia) Henderson and Sandra Henderson (Robert) Gause, his nieces Rose Marie (Jerry) Nodes (his God daughter), Wen Pfierce, Amy (Jami) Avery , Billie Jo Hayes, Mishelle (Justin) Graber , Melissa Konkol and his nephews Gene Korn, Ken (Connie) Konkol , Matthew (Natalie) Konkol, James Konkol, Bryan (Alysia) Konkol , his dear friend Gary Heath and many great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins from the families Henderson, Spagnolo/Spagnola, Richart, Nagy and Marshman just to name a few. We will miss that “Oh My” and that famous eye roll so much. Bobby lived and loved with his entire being and will be greatly missed. Fly high our dearest Bobby! Fly High!
