Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, February 1, 2019 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  Funeral Services will follow at 7 pm Friday evening, and Roy will be laid to rest privately in California Road Cemetery the following day.

Roy was employed for many years as an over the road truck driver and spent several years working at Zolman Tire and Auto.  He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid football fan of both Notre Dame and the Indianapolis Colts.

Roy enjoyed feeding his family and friends at his famous cookouts, and he will  be remembered fondly by those who knew him as a kind hearted and caring soul who would go above and beyond to lend an ear to those in need.   Most of all, his greatest joy in life was being “Pawpaw” to his grandkids.  He took great joy in spending time with them, and the grandkids always knew a popsicle could be found in Pawpaw’s freezer.

In his memory, donations may be made to defray final expenses directly through our website.  To leave a condolence for Roy’s family, light a virtual candle, or view his online video tribute, please follow the links provided on the Tribute Wall tab above.
