Ruth's life was a testament to the beauty of simple pleasures and the power of unconditional love. She found joy in the countless hours spent outdoors in her garden, growing beautiful flowers. Ruth also loved listening to music; especially Elvis Presley, creating memories of laughter and togetherness with her family. Ruth also loved to spend time in the kitchen cooking her famous lasagna and potato salad which were a hit with her family and friends at family gatherings. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time with her cats.
She was employed as a line leader at ER Carpenter and AccraPac of Elkhart for a short time, but Ruth's greatest pride and joy was her family. She adored her children and grandchildren, providing them with love and support. An excellent listener, Ruth offered advice that was both wise and kind, never passing judgment and always encouraging positivity. Her encouragement was a source of comfort and strength, and she made it a point to ensure that negativity never had a place in her home.
Faith was a cornerstone of Ruth's life. She was a dedicated member of Calvary United Methodist Church for many years, where she found spiritual peace and a sense of community. In her memory, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Elkhart.
