The Yoder family started attending the Osceola Church of the Brethren on Easter Sunday in 1946.  Lucy was still a member and was involved in the church as a Sunday School teacher, pianist/organist and as a deacon.  She accompanied the first choir and played for many weddings and funerals.  Playing church music had been her passion in her service to Christ and the church.   In 1986, she became the part time church secretary, enjoying another way of service for 10 years. Another great joy in her life was attending Women’s Bible study fellowship at Gospel Center Church for 11 years.
