SHIRLEY J. DOAN June 8, 1938 - December 30, 2014

OSCEOLA- Shirley J. Doan, 76, of Osceola, passed away on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1938 in Anna, Illinois to the late Clarence & Pauline (Price) Christian. On October 14, 1961 in Mishawaka she married Allen "Al" Henry Doan. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2009 in Osceola. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Surviving five children, Don (Michele) Doan of Osceola, Sheryl (Jim) Roberts of Elkhart, Robert (LuAnn) Doan of Granger, David (Marty) Doan of Elkhart, Michael (Christine) Doan of South Bend; two granddaughters, Marie and M.J. both of Osceola and grandson, Quinn of Charleston, SC.; two sisters, Nancy Kelly of Granite City, IL, Brenda (Frank) Ludanyi of IL, two brothers, Curtis (Nancy) Doan and Jerry (Doreen) Doan both of MI. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing euchre, going to the boat and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Osceola American Legion Post #308. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday January 4, 2015 at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home in Osceola. Friends may visit with the family for two hours prior to the service. Pastor Brian Baughman from the Fuente de Vida Grace Church will preside and burial with be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
