Teresa R. Blake

Teresa R. Blake of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at South Bend Memorial Hospital. She was born in Ft. Hood, TX, on March 30, 1964 to Jack and Thelma (White) Blake.  Teresa is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Brandon) Casey of Osceola, IN; Grandchildren, Landon and Madyson; Parents, Jack and Thelma (White) Blake of LaPorte; Siblings, Scott (Debbie) Blake of LaPorte, and Dawn (Dwight, Jr.) Beaty of Indianapolis, IN; nine nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

No visitation will be held at this this time, a Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date with her immediate family.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola has been entrusted with her care.

Teresa enjoyed life, loved her family immensely, was the life of the party, loved to laugh with her friends, and cared for others as she was always was willing to share what she had with those in need.  She also made a difference in her community by serving as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, and assisting people with job placements through Specialized Staffing in South Bend.  Teresa proved to be a fighter for her life overcoming many challenges due to a brain injury received several years ago, then breast cancer and her final fight with COVID that took her life.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be given to Ronald McDonald House.
