Tim Walker, 73, went to Heaven on Feb. 2, 2024, in Peoria, Arizona, following a brief illness. He was born on November 8, 1950 in Mishawaka, to Rebekah and the late Richard Walker, and grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, graduating from Jimtown High School.
Tim is survived by his mother, Rebekah (Fred) Bratcher of Apollo Beach, Florida, his siblings John (Sherrie) Walker of St. Joe, Indiana, Diane (Jim) Marks of Goshen, Indiana, and Nadine (Neal) Albert of Middlebury, Indiana, and Nancy Drew of Elkhart, Indiana. Additionally, he is survived by 10 nieces and nephews, as well as 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Following high school, Tim relocated to Seattle to pursue higher education in music. During his time in Seattle, he worked in reservations for several commercial airlines. He loved to travel the world. Tim had a deep passion for music, particularly classical, and took part in a madrigal choir while residing in Seattle. Approximately a decade ago, he made the decision to move to Arizona mostly to get away from Seattle's rainy days. Most recently he volunteered at the food bank at Grace Bible Church in Sun City, Arizona, where he attended.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, May 17th, 2024, from 2-3 pm, with a service beginning at 3pm, at Cruz Family Funeral Home, Osceola. Per his wishes, cremation has already taken place.
