Vicky Lee Ellsworth

Vicky Lee Ellsworth, age 68 of Elkhart, passed away November 3, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.  Vicky was born November 15, 1953, in Elkhart, Indiana.  She was a graduate of Purdue University and was employed for many years in management at Godfrey Marine and as a customer service representative in the RV industry in Elkhart before taking her retirement early.  During her time on the job, Vicky was a hard worker and was well respected by her co-workers and leaders.

She is survived by her siblings Raymond Ellsworth Jr. of Elkhart, and Joy Lynn Gibson of Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Ellsworth and Joyce (Boatman) Gibson, and her former spouse Issabell “Elaine” Reed.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Carlton Cemetery in Elkhart.  Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.

In her spare time, she enjoyed camping on the weekends with her family and friends, fishing, and was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

She will be remembered as the life of the party.  Her amazing smile and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed.  Vicky was also extremely generous with her time and money and was always willing to help her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
