Virgil M Pletcher

OSCEOLA- Virgil M. Pletcher, 74, of Osceola Passed away on Saturday July 30, 2016 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1942 in Mishawaka to the late Virgil K. & Geraldine (Lavine) Pletcher. On November 30, 1963 he married Louise A. Hoover. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2010. Surviving are four sons, Wally (Tina) Pletcher of Tampa, FL, Terry Pletcher, Bob (Lori) Pletcher, John (Debbie) Pletcher all of Osceola; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Charles Pletcher, and his step mother Evadean (Webber) Pletcher. Virgil graduated in 1961 from Mishawaka High School. He enjoyed collecting and driving classic cars. Virgil worked for the Mishawaka Utilities in the electrical department, retiring after 47 years of service. A celebration of life service for Virgil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday August 4, 2016 at the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway W., Osceola, IN. Friends may visit with the family for two hours prior to the service. Cremation will take place after the service and burial will be private in Olive (East) Cemetery.
