William “Bill” Otto Kruggel, 82, of Palm Beach, Fl, formerly of South Bend, IN entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Bill was born in South Bend, on July 1, 1942, to the late William, Sr. and Gertrude (Dobbert) Kruggel, and later married Gaye Lynne Morros, who also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his two sons, Todd (Joe) Kruggel of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Jeff (Angie) Kruggel of New Port Richey, FL. Two grandchildren, Nick (Carol) and Jamie Kruggel also survive; along with his parents, and wife, Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Lockmandy.
Bill was deeply devoted to his family, always putting their needs before his own and cherishing every moment spent with them. He served in the U.S Navy on the U.S.S. North Hampton during the Vietnam war. He was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, where he found comfort and community. Bill also had a passion for sports and loved watching games with his family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and excitement. Bill’s love for his family and faith was evident in everything he did, and he will be greatly missed.
