Bill was employed for many years as a licensed Real Estate Agent and represented ReMax and Milligan Realty before his retirement. In his younger years, Bill played high school football. He and Iris enjoyed traveling and spending time at their winter home in St. Augustine, Florida, for several years. Being born and raised in Tennessee, Bill loved to cook Southern style meals for his family. He also enjoyed staying active and physically fit by going to the gym several times a week.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all.
Most of all, Bill had a servant’s heart and was a Pastor to many throughout his life. His strong faith in the Lord and eagerness to share the gospel was a blessing to many. Each morning, Bill awoke at 5:30 am to spend a couple of hours in prayer for his family, his church and his country.
In his memory, donations may be given to Apostolic Temple in South Bend where he and Iris attended faithfully. To light a virtual candle, share a story of his life, or leave a message of comfort for Bill’s family, please visit www.CruzFamilyFH.com.
