WOODROW "Woody" WOODS May 4, 1944 - February 19, 2014 OSCEOLA- Woodrow "Woody" Woods, 69, of Osceola passed away at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday February 19, 2014 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born May 4, 1944 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Hoover & Mamie (Stokes) Woods. On December 11, 1987 in Indianapolis, Indiana he married Sylvia Cardoza. She survives along with 4 children, Holly Woods of Elkhart, Quincy Woods of South bend, Timothy Woods of Elkhart, Joshua Woods of South Bend; 9 grandchildren; 1 brother, Will Woods of Marion, IN and 4 sisters, Rachael Woods, Tina Woods, Ann Woods all of Indianapolis, IN and Patricia Woods of Chicago. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Hoover Woods, Jr. Woody enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and going out to eat. He will be missed by many friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday February 28, 2014 at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family for 1 hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
