Yvonne Kathryn (Ledoux) Piech

Yvonne Kathryn Piech, age 85 of South Bend, passed away at her home on Monday, July 26, 2021. Yvonne was born December 3, 1945, in Harvey, Illinois to the late Edward and Kathryn Rose (Eckstein) LeDoux.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey L. Komp of Mishawaka and several grandchildren. Her son Jay Komp and her daughter Joyce Flaim preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings Jack, Gene and Joyce.

There will be no formal services for Yvonne, but the family asks that you remember her in your own special way.

Yvonne was employed as an executive secretary for the Mishawaka School System for more than 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and knitting blankets for family and friends, and she loved to watch Notre Dame Football.  Yvonne was also an avid reader and passed her passion for reading books to her children.
